Red Crucible is based on a fictional war between NATO and the Soviet Union in the early 1990s.
Operation GROM is the Soviet offensive against NATO and most of the battles are fought on
West German territory. Eventually, battles in other parts of Europe, including Eastern Europe,
will be fought. Operation GROM will be part of the first official release and initially it will have
nine missions. Special attention will be made to ensure that all of the Red Crucible missions
are connected. This will make Red Crucible especially suitable for tournament game play.
Red Crucible is a fast paced 3rd-person shooter / combat game thrusting players into the role of
either a NATO (US) or Soviet soldier, caught up in the epic struggle of World War 3.
